First post: Blog Philosophy

There isn't one.

My plan is thus: post dishes I make, post dishes I eat, post oddities I find, talk about restaurants, talk about beer, wine and liquor.

I don't really plan on posting recipes here. In fact one of the driving reasons for creating this blog is to document the cooking "creative process" I'm trying to hone. That is to say, thinking I'm brilliant while cooking and realizing just how much I fucked up upon completion. Recipes are great, but cooking without them and getting it right is even better. So that's the approach I'll largely be taking.

So, without further adieu, away we go...
